Among Engineers there is no argument as to the superior quality of welds performed by HotWire GTAW processes. However, Hot Wire GTAW is a complicated process to control, involving many variables, both electrical and mechanical. PPC's precision welding systems and experienced operators provide the control to consistently deliver the substantial benefits of this process.

Features:
  • Real Time on screen video and graphical displays.
  • Ability to override any parameter while welding. Great for R&D.
  • Integrated Process Monitoring and Data Acquisition. Real Time tolerance checking for automated quality alarms.
  • Networked Systems for transfer and storage of process data.
  • Precision servo-motor / encoder control of all motion axes.
PPC's ADVENT cladding systems manufactured by AMET, Inc. combine simplified part geometry programming with precision motion and process control to produce "starts and stops" that are accurate enough to be tied in flawlessly with automated, autogenous, seal passes.

Most bore clad controls in use today require the operator to over-run the starts and stops from one bore into the next, and then grind them back to flush. This technique not only requires additional time and costly consumables, it potentially compromises the quality of the clad overlay, and complicates final machining.

ADVENT is not a "touch to teach" programming interface. It's a powerful user friendly three dimensional programming interface with virtually unlimited capability. The PPC ADVENT systems with advanced DSP Technology give our programmers and operators control of every element of the welding process, while providing the mechanical accuracy of a machine tool.
